Born in Cottage Mahaicony, Guyana, he migrated to Canada at seventeen and served nine years in the Canadian military. He first sang at sixteen at the Pelican Inn in Georgetown, and returned to music professionally in 2008.

The name Teleskope came from the Telescope Humanity Charity he founded, and from people who said he could see things from far. An analytical mind turned on the human condition, and songs of redemption that never glorify violence or berate women.

Two albums stand behind him, Look Again and Diary of a Human Being, with airplay reaching from Jamaica outward, and a third, Natural Resource, on the way. He writes too, with a book, In This World But Not Of This World, on the horizon.
